Songbird is a “desktop media player mashed-up with the web” that “challenges the conventions of discovery, purchase, consumption and organization of music on the Internet.”
In other words is this software both a music player and a web browser, that also brilliantly has integrated SkreemeR “The World’s Greatest Mp3 Search Engine” which enables you to search for and download music off the net very simple.
Songbird is well developed and maintained and there are many extensions and themes available. The software is available for download on the Songbird’s nest (x86_64) on this link: Here, and on getdeb.net (32 and 64 bit) on this link: Here.
Songbird also has a page on Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Songbird_(software)
